The hammer beam trussed roof required a detailed survey and inspection.  Parts of it could be accessed using mechanical equipment but details of the trusses above the elevated floor sections and the end walls could only be examined using Wallwalkers’ Roped Access Techniques.  A condition report has also been produced for the lantern on the exterior and the roof abutments are soon to be examined
