Spring Cleaning with Altitude

Visitors to the new Mill and Engine House at Warwick Castle will get a clear view across the island thanks to WallWalkers

In preparation for the launch of this major new attraction, the windows needed to be cleaned and vegetation removed from the ancient walIs of the Castle's south elevation and 14th century Caesar's Tower, as they will be seen for the first time by thousands of visitors.

WallWalkers abseiled down the outside of the Castle, more than 100 feet above the ground, using specialist techniques to clean the walls and windows whilst taking great care to protect the heritage stonework. The lightweight roped access system is set up to ensure no damage is done to the building.
